For the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee weekend Abbey Baptist Church are running the following:
Saturday June 2nd, 1pm – 4pm: Fun in the Park!
We have a stand at the event in the Abbey grounds! Come and find us and say hello! There will a chance to throw a wet sponge at someone in the stocks, or get one of your family members to pose in the stocks for a photo. Leaflets introducing the church and its family activities will be available too.
Sunday June 3rd, 10.30am: A Special Diamond Jubilee All-Age-Service!
A church service suitable for all the family at our church building in Checker Walk, Abingdon. Followed by a free family BBQ!
June 9th, from 10am: Market Square
Representatives of the church will be in the market square with suitable literature to answer people’s questions and introduce the church activities.
